The Tibor Varga Music Academy is proud to launch its first Winter Session which will take place from February 11th to February 24th 2021 and will offer 9 intensive 3-day masterclasses.

Several professors from the Swiss Universities of Music as well as two professors from the Royal College of Music in London will share their advice and techniques. This is an excellent occasion to prepare for an entrance exam, a competition, or to improve your skills.
You will have the opportunity to meet P. Vernikov and S. Makarova - violin, T. Masurenko - viola, X. Phillips and A. Chaushian - cello, M.-A. Bonanomi - double bass, J.-D. Castellon - flute, F. Di Càsola - clarinet and P. Godart and A. Wass - piano.

Founded in 1952 by the famous violinist Tibor Varga, the Académie de Musique Tibor Varga (AMTV) takes place every summer, hosting professors and students wanting to improve their musical skills. Lessons take several forms:
● Masterclasses: last 3 consecutive days between 11 and 21 February 2021. Take advantage of at least 3 private lessons of one hour each with the teacher of your choice. Intended for students graduated from a Conservatory or a University Music Department and for young professional musicians who want to work with new professors or prepare for an exam or competition. An accompanist is also present during part of the lessons.
● Junior Masterclasses: just like the Masterclasses, the Junior Masterclasses are intended for younger musicians from the age of 10 (at least 3 years of practice is required).
